Birthdays

We just celebrated 4 of the 6 birthdays in our family. Kelton was the first on March 7th and was given the opportunity to have a birthday party or $50, to our surprise and great relief he chose the $50. Also to our surprise rather than spend it right away he chose to save it for a motorcycle he can ride. Perhaps he was wanting to impress a certain little girl in our ward who he chose to take to Thanksgiving Point on his birthday. We couldn't think of a cuter little girl than Cadence Jones for him to have his eyes set on. Kelton is really into sports, and so he also got hooked up with more and more sports equipment.

Ayden was next to celebrate a birthday on March 10th. He had fallen in love with his cousin Jaiden's ground hog she had built at "Build-A-Bear" and so this is what he wanted to do. He had a hard time deciding which clothes to dress his new puppy in, but ended up choosing jeans and 4-wheelin' T-shirt. He sleeps with it almost every night. We had a combined family party for both of the boys and they were spoiled as usual. Ayden didn't want a birthday cake for his birthday so he had a plate full of mini powder donuts.

Jill was next on March 16th ~ and then followed closely after by Saige on April 5th. Poor Saige had to celebrate her birthday duing the middle of General Conference weekend. However, in the morning we surprised her with a new bike. She had long outgrown her 12" princess bike, where everytime she peddled her knees almost hit her chest. She was so excited! That night we took her to her favorite restaurant - Cafe' Rio, while Dad was at the General Priesthood Session. Luckily, Aunt Emily, Braxton, and Aspen were able to go with her. Saige was surprised as the workers sang happy birthday to her right there ~ and gave her a free dessert! Saige also had a family party this year, but wanted hers at Grandma's and Papa's house so she could go swimming with all her cousins.
